Why I like Ford vs Ferrari

Why i like Ford Vs Ferrari is because its an amazing racing movie, and it is also about friendship and the struggles of preparing for a race. I watched this movie when i was 5 years old with my family. My father is a big fan of F1 races and he thought it will be a good idea to watch this movie as a family. Only after watching this movie, i could understand why my father loved F1 racing so much. Its not a race everyone can participate, you need skills and hard work.

The story has Caroll Shelby as a person who builds fast cars and Ken Miles as a skilled race car driver. The Ford Motor company was upset with Ferrari after a deal that didn't work out and Ford wanted to go for the Le Man race where Ferrari always wins. They wanted to show Ferrari that they could win too. So they got the help of Shelby to improve their GT40 car. However Shelby wanted Ken Miles to drive the race car. Ken Miles could not get along with BB who is in charge of the race from Ford. Therefore he lost the chance to participate in the race. Ford went on to lose the race that year. Shelby got his chance to get Ken Miles to drive the car in the next race because of this.

Ken Miles would need to win the Daytona race first, only then he can go for the Le Man race. This was the arrangement Shelby had with Mr.Henry Ford. In the Daytona race, Ken Miles first was driving slower and was not in the lead. In the last lap, Shelby showed him a sign that said, "7000 rpm Go like hell" and that made Ken Miles drive faster and he managed to take over the other cars. He won the race!!

Next it was the Le Mans race. At first he had a car issue with the door, and was struggling. Then he picked up speed and managed to takeover the lead car which was Ferrari. It was amazing to watch! But Ford made a decision that he needs to slow down and drive along with the other Ford car to the finish line. He didn't win due to this because there was a difference in the distance calculation with the other drivers. Despite being the fastest driver, he lost. It was very sad to watch.

I learned from this movie that first you should always believe in yourself and keep trying to reach your dream. The journey will not be easy but keep going. I'm in Primary 1 this year and I made lots of new friends. This movie thought me that good friends will always stand by you. I once fell down in the school field, and my friends ran and came to help me. It really touched me because I never had that kind of friends. We can see from our friends actions, who our true friends are. I also learned that opportunities will not come easy, we need to keep exploring all our skills and continuously work on it. This movie has inspired me to become a racer and I love the Ford GT40 car!
